Good luck & farewell 

Wednesday, August 31, 2022, marked my final episode of Guangdong Report.

To those who have watched and supported Guangdong Report over the years, I thank you.

About Hazza

Hazza, an accomplished Australian journalist, television host, radio presenter, and singer, has had a distinguished career spanning twelve years, primarily based in Guangzhou, China.

During his tenure with Guangdong Radio and Television (GRT), Hazza was the host of several notable programs, including "Guangdong News Now," "Guangdong Today," "Guangdong Report," "News Headlines," "Face Time," and "China Chats," aired on GRTRadio and GDTV World, GRT's international channel.

In addition, Hazza was a frequent guest on various entertainment programs broadcasted on GRT's Pearl River Channel and Guangdong Satellite Television. These included "Xiang Cun Zhen Xing," "The Health Show," and "Have Fun Together."

Hazza concluded his role as the host of "Guangdong Report" on August 31, 2022. Prior to this, he had ceased making appearances as a regular panelist or guest on entertainment programs as of February 25, 2022. Although Hazza is no longer associated with GRT, he expresses his gratitude to his former colleagues for their support throughout his tenure and wishes them success in their future endeavors. He cherishes the earlier memories of his time spent in Guangzhou, China.

In his capacity as a singer, Hazza has released several Mandarin Chinese singles. His 2012 release, "Let Go," achieved the No.1 position on the Guangzhou New Music Charts. Other notable releases include "No Worries," "Mr. Gentleman," and his most recent single, "I Was Wrong," released in August 2020. His music videos have garnered over 100 million views on Chinese video-sharing platforms.

Hazza's journalistic work in China has been nationally recognized. He was awarded the "China News Award - First Prize" in 2016, with a congratulatory message from the Chinese President read at the awards ceremony. He also received the provincial-level "Guangdong News Award - First Prize" in 2016 and was named the 2017 Australia-China Alumni Association and TOEFL "Young Australia-China Alumni of the Year."

In 2020, Hazza was appointed as an Anti-drug Ambassador for Haizhu District and served as the former Chapter President of ACYPI Guangzhou Chapter. In 2019, he hosted the Marriott International South China Black Tie Gala Dinner, contributing to the raising of 2.4 million yuan for the Yao Foundation.

Over the course of his twelve-year career in China, Hazza has collaborated with numerous brands and organizations, including KFC, Huawei, Tourism New South Wales, Chimelong, and 9yuan Airlines.
